- Our Mission -
Cultivate Resilience. Embody Clarity. Lead with Purpose.
At Senses Yoga School, we integrate yoga, breathwork, meditation, contemplative education, and consciousness studies to support personal and collective wellbeing.
Rooted in ancient wisdom and informed by modern science, our programs create accessible spaces for restoration, self-awareness, community connection, and meaningful growth.
Through both sanctuary-based practice and public community outreach, we cultivate environments that support nervous system wellness, contemplative learning, ecological connection, and a deeper sense of belonging.
We believe wellness should be accessible, grounded in care, and woven into everyday life — within our communities, workplaces, relationships, and connection to the natural world.
- Our Philosophy-
the heroic yug
We draw from the timeless wisdom traditions of yoga and Vedanta and explore how these teachings can support the realities of modern life.
At Senses Yoga School, we view yoga not simply as exercise, but as a lifelong practice of awareness, integrity, service, self-study, and relationship with the world around us.
Our approach is rooted in what we call the Heroic Yug — a way of living that encourages grounded strength, compassion, clarity, and meaningful contribution within our communities.
We believe personal wellbeing and collective wellbeing are deeply connected. Through contemplative practice, ecological connection, education, and community care, we seek to cultivate accessible spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, one another, and the natural world.
Yoga, in this sense, becomes not only a practice, but a way of participating more consciously in life.
Luan Seguim
Founder, Senses Yoga School
Luan’s journey began across cultures—born in Brazil and raised in the United States—shaped by early work in the arts before transitioning into community and environmental initiatives.
His path into yoga deepened through dedicated study with gurus from Rishikesh, India, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and years of consistent self-practice, accumulating over 1,000 hours of training in Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and breathwork.
What emerged from this work is Senses Yoga School—a multi-environment system now active across libraries, community spaces, military settings, and workplaces.
His approach integrates traditional yogic principles with modern application, creating accessible pathways for resilience, clarity, and purposeful leadership in everyday life.
