01 · By text

Read with care.
Return with curiosity.

Each edition holds its own voice. Keep the translator, passage, and question together as you study.

Name every edition.

Public-domain texts

Verified historical editions link directly to free public PDFs or established open-text providers.

Open-access scans

Some provider-hosted scans are readable online but are not automatically labeled public domain.

ED.

Edition awareness

Public companion editions support study but do not replace a translation or page assignment named by a course.

02 · By curriculum

Read along with
our apprentices.

The lesson is a doorway. The source remains a place to return.

Semester I · Week 12

Love, Duty, Desire
& Discernment

The current reference sheet connects Rāmāyaṇa study with familiar Śavāsana and kośa meditation.

Return to: the Goldman overview, the separate Shastri passages, and Chapter 30 of Light on Prāṇāyāma.

Scribing: Name one teaching and its edition, describe what practice helped you observe, and identify a practical action.

Edition-specific assignments remain in the school’s Week 12 reference sheet. Private apprentice materials are not included in this public package.

Semester II · Return & application

What becomes alive
through service?

Return to an earlier reading when field experience makes it newly useful. Study, observation, and responsibility can inform one another.

सेवा · sevā · service
स्वाध्याय · svādhyāya · self-study

Record: title, edition, section, field question, and what you actually observed.

This is a navigation prototype, not a replacement for the approved Semester II workbook or its assignments.

03 · By question

Begin where the
question is alive.

A practice of distinction

Four lenses of study.

01

Primary text

What does this specific source say?

02

Traditional interpretation

How does a named teacher, lineage, or commentator understand it?

03

School application

How does Senses Yoga School carry the teaching into practice?

04

Personal observation

What did I experience, notice, or document?
