Yoga For Life (YFL)
Community-Based Yoga, Wellness & Leadership
Yoga For Life (YFL) is Senses Yoga School's signature community wellness program. Through yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound, and reflective practice, YFL helps individuals cultivate resilience, regulate the nervous system, and strengthen meaningful connections with their communities.
Grounded in trauma-aware and inclusive practices, Yoga For Life welcomes participants of all backgrounds and experience levels. Every class is designed to make the benefits of yoga accessible while fostering leadership, stewardship, and collective well-being.
Rather than a single class format, Yoga For Life is delivered through partnerships with libraries, parks, workplaces, cultural institutions, schools, military organizations, and community centers—meeting people where they already gather.
Yoga Arts Garden initiative (YAGI)
Restoration, Creativity & Place-Based Care
The Yoga Arts Garden Initiative extends the practice of Yoga For Life into outdoor, garden, and ecological settings. Participants engage with the land through embodied yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound, creative arts, and hands-on garden stewardship. Gardens become living classrooms for reflection, restoration, and collective care.
This program is designed for community members, artists, educators, activists, and learners of all ages who wish to connect with nature, contribute to sustainable community spaces, and explore how creative practice meets ecological responsibility.
Yoga For Life participants are encouraged to bring their unique skills and innovations into gardens and outdoor spaces, connecting inner practice with tangible, community-centered impact.
