Volunteer &
Community Pathways

Community is our campus.

Senses Yoga School welcomes people who want to contribute, learn, build experience, complete community-service requirements, or explore a deeper role within the school. Begin with one digital interest form; staff will help identify a placement that is useful, supported, and appropriate for the work.

Share your interests and availability through our official volunteer Typeform. A coordinator reviews each submission and follows up about placement and service-hour requirements.

A place to begin

Service has many forms.

You do not need previous yoga, garden, or nonprofit experience to begin. We match people with current needs, reasonable training, and a clear supervising contact—without treating service as isolated labor.

Ways to contribute

Choose a starting point.

01

Community & Professional Wellness

Support public classes, accessible wellness events, setup, welcoming, outreach, and participant care.

02

Ecology & YAGI

Join garden stewardship, restoration, foodways, ecological learning, documentation, and seasonal workdays.

03

Specialized & Creative Studies

Contribute to research, Dream Connections, music and arts gatherings, visual storytelling, or creative production.

04

School Operations

Offer administrative, communications, event, partnership, or project support that helps the school remain community-led.

The digital pathway

Simple to enter. Clear to sustain.

One public intake begins the process. Formal documents and verified records are used only when a placement calls for them.

  1. 1
    Submit the Volunteer Interest Form

Share your interests, availability, and relevant experience through the school’s public intake.

  2. 2
    Staff review and placement

The response enters the school’s volunteer record. A staff member follows up to discuss a current need, supervising lead, service-hour requirement when applicable, and appropriate next step.

  3. 3
    Confirm the working relationship

Ongoing, partner-site, minor, academic, or civic-service placements may include a formal agreement before work begins.

  4. 4
    Track approved service in Jibble

After placement, a school coordinator records verified volunteer hours in Jibble. Volunteers can contact their coordinator to confirm hours, report additional service, or request corrections.

  5. 5
    Complete and verify

A supervising lead reviews the record. Completion or service documentation is issued from verified Jibble hours and placement records.

Community service

Need hours verified?

Tell us at the beginning.

Tell your coordinator about any required hours, deadline, and school, court, or community program—without asking for case details. We will review whether a suitable supervised placement is available before promising hours or documentation.

Hours completed before an approved placement or outside the Jibble process cannot be retroactively certified.
